Shopping nearby is not geared towards malls, but the higher-end feel of boutiques and shops. Some of these include Ooh La La Womens Wear, Toni Plus, Leo Boutique, Hype Fight Store, Blame Betty, Dick & James, Feisty Consignment and Firoz.
Three schools serve the area: Bishop Carroll High School, Mount Royal Junior High School, and the Richmond School.
