Britannia was developed mostly in the 1950s; it is bordered by the Elbow River to the north, 50th Av to the south, Elbow Drive SW to the east and again by the Elbow River to the west. Within these borders is the Riverdale Park; it uniquely takes up a large portion of the community, particular through its center.
In Britannia the homes can be some of the most expensive in Calgary at $6M, while others can be moderately expensive at $800,0000. The community is small and exclusive, with only 802 residents. The most expensive homes are priced that way for a reason … the views of the park and river are incredible year-round.
Heritage is the closest bus terminal to Britannia, while busses travel route three up Elbow Drive.
